MT6816 magnetic encoder magnetic induction angle measurement sensor module

The MT6816 magnetic encoder chip is a new generation of high-speed and high-precision angle encoder chip launched by McGonagall Microelectronics. The chip is mainly used for DC brushless motor control, servo motor control, closed-loop stepper motor control, and so on. Due to the chip only responding to changes in the direction of the magnetic field parallel to the chip surface, MT6816 has lower requirements for machining errors of the magnet itself and installation distance errors between the magnet and the chip during use.

MT6816 has a relatively wide temperature range and can operate within the temperature range of -40~125 ℃, greatly expanding the application scenarios of the chip. MT6816 provides an incremental ABZ output interface to replace traditional photoelectric encoders, with a maximum resolution of 1024 pulses/turn or 4096 steps/turn for incremental output. It also provides an incremental UVW signal that replaces Hall, with 1-16 pairs of programmable poles.

The MT6816 provides a 3-wire or 4-wire SPI interface for the upper computer or MCU to read the 14 bit absolute angle values inside the chip. At the same time, single line output PWM can also provide absolute angle data with a resolution of 12 bits.
